HEY Conferences are pleased to announce The Spa Bridlington reopens!

After a £19.5 million redevelopment The Spa Bridlington is preparing to reopen its doors with a Grand Launch, 31 May - 7 June 2008. The spectacular entertainment programme showcases the flexibility of the venue, offering something for everyone to enjoy and extending into a jam-packed summer season.

Jo Clarke, Sales and Customer Services Manager at The Spa said:

‘The Spa has been a ground-breaking, flagship project and we wanted to reflect the improvements in the building with a bigger and better entertainment programme than we have ever had before.'

Following nearly two years of intense building work the iconic and much-loved local landmark reopens with a week-long series of events highlighting both the variety and scale of what the east coast's premier entertainment venue has to offer.

The stunning 1930s art deco Royal Hall has an increased capacity of 3500, making it one of the largest concert venues in the region. The entirely new sprung wooden dance floor also makes it the perfect location for balls and dinners. The two-tier, Edwardian Spa Theatre has been brought into the 21st century with modern technical facilities whilst retaining its opulence and character.

A sizzling summer of entertainment follows the launch week, with highlights including the Billy Pierce Spa Spectacular variety show, Lesley Garrett and Opera North, Joe Longthorne, Ken Dodd, a brand new season of stand-up comedy nights, Viking Fm Brid Bash featuring the Sugababes and much, much more.
